What is your choice? MTA or SA-MP? Please post with reasons.

Mine is MTA, because almost every object is synced and ping rates are MUCH MORE low. Most importantly because of anti-cheat system. But SA-MP is brillant enough to challenge it i guess.

Good reasons but, i rather to wait untill MTADM release. It will be much more better than SA-MP when its released and properly publicized. Im not playing SA-MP for a long time atm...

I didnt say MTA is better than SA-MP at the moment, i said it has a better potential. I am thinking what will happen to SA-MP after 2-3 years of MTA:SA DM release.

Maybe, but you forgot SA-MP will release their new versions too, they just might suprise us.

I didn't, i think SA-MP's future updates will be a little late for MTASA: DM. Maybe you forgot the times we had some royal pain while waiting for SA-MP 0.2 . That was really bad, hackers paradise. I hope we wont need to wait too long for 0.3 etc.

Also, no matter what suprises we have on future about SA-MP but, i hope we wont get any more "SA-MP Closed" words at http://www.sa-mp.com

With better sync, low ping rates and a good anti cheat, MTASA: DM will be a much more better choice for public servers in my opinion (like LW, Partyserver etc). Because these kind of servers usually have 30-70 people playing in, some from china, some from pacific and some from europe. Some with hacks, some with bugs and some with complaints.

Maybe we will see a great competition if SA-MP team suprises us with huge updates, anti-cheat packs etc.

It is nice to see everyone started to write their own thoughts and opinions here.

I hope they will fix high ping rates too.

What about letting people post their opinions about MTA's potential and SA-MP's current superiorities? Not a very bad idea i think.

[ot]MTASA: Race is released elyks. I play it more than SA-MP. If you meant MTASA DM im sorry but, i still did not see someone (except me) posted something about it. I just posted about future.

Also, this poll's point is not "What is better, SA-MP or MTA". It is "What is your choice, SA-MP or MTA". Please read again before posting.

but if we are talking about mta:race - racing 100% of time? in samp you can race how much you wanna and then leave car and own some naabs Wink
and about mta:dm
who is 100% sure that synchro will be 100000 times better?
did you play it? maybe objects will be laggy enough to think that samp is better?
we will know as elyks said when it will be released, or at least if we will be able to play beta

so let's wait for mta:dm release, i voted on sa-mp Wink

Well, for myself i was talking about MTA's good sync and less lag in MTASA: Race. I have noticed drving cars, racing, bumping to other people and car deathmatches was much more fun than it was in SA-MP. Because pings were low and wasnt affecting the game a lot and still didnt noticed any bugs.

Not only racing in all time, as i told we were doing deathmatches, like bumping to others with dumpers, dozers, caddies, dunes and much more, we were also playing some teamwork races. I mean, some has motorbikes, some has packers to make ramps for motorbikes, some has DFT-30 to make moving platforms etc. And some even blow themselves up while carrying loads of bikes on them. So it wasnt only race, you better try it out.

Most funny thing was maps... Roads floating at air, very high skyscrapers even planes and helicopters cant reach to top. Too many, different objects. And a easy-to-use map editor.

I never said im sure about sync will be x times better, but i said i am sure about it will be better. You dont need too wait for MTASA: DM's release, loads of information can be found in their website.

Still, im really sad about different scripting languages.

SA:MP is the best for me.
Its easy to access the servers without an Out Game browser.
Chat system is much better than MTA. On MTA only a lil chat window :S

1.bah "Map editor" a map editor is in samp, its not like MTA sure, but it´s quite handy and in some situations even better than the current MTA editor AND the best thing is everyone can add anything to this editor because hes made with scripting. 1:0 samp
2.It should be possible to script pawn in MTA with the SDK and some C++ 1:1
3.Chat system in MTA DM is completly customable you can set background window, text size, text color, place, ammount of lines etc. etc. 2:1 MTA

It´s impossible for samp to beat the features of MTA with custom objects.....
Maybe the synch of MTA is bad yes but anyway it will beat samp... in my eyes this is 100% sure, everyone wants to work with custom objects, a custom hud and a powerfull language like MTA, the possibilities of MTA are infinitiv, the possibilities of samp have borders...and they cant beat MTA...not enough time and not enough motivation and not a powerfull structuce like the blue core

This is my opinon shit on it

MTA's current map editor's maps can be converted to SA-MP too. I have just made a gamemode with it (actually modified old gamemode) Operation: Rivershell with loads of new towers, barriers etc. Unfortunalety no one to play with for now...

MTA is much more "official" than SA-MP anyway.
