You'll need GTA SA 1.0 to play and install modifications to your GTA Installation.
There is an inofficial downgrade patch available for 2.0 and 1.1 Version of GTA San Andreas. It's not official supported and since it changes the Executable it could be considered illegal in some countries.

In GTA:Tournament everything you do, you get or lose respect for. All stuff you do, is counted on your total respect. To keep it fair for new players and make it easy to see who is currently active, we have recent respect, which is default for all respect displays. Recent respect is calculated over past 4 weeks, so if you have been active in past 4 weeks, you have more recent respect. If you have not played, you have 0!

To capture a zone in GTA:T, your gang has to make most respect in past 31 days in the area. This works by fighting+killing very much in the area. Like recent respect it is calculated over past 4 weeks, so if your gang has not been active in past 4 weeks, you will have 0 recent respect in that area and lose it to another gang.

After you leave the server with less then 80% health, you\'ll see the following text in your log and will not be able to log back into gtat for the next 10 minutes.
log:
[2008/07/09 21:37] Got banned offgame for 10 minutes (Reason: Automatic ban for death evading).
[2008/07/09 21:37] Lost 36 (Wallet: 36). Punishment for leaving with <80% Health!
Additionally 25 total respect will be removed.

Depending on your internet connection and distance to the servers (which are currently located in germany), your ping may vary. We do not suggest players from asia, southamerica, africa or West USA to play on our servers - as the gameplay may be pretty bad for you. Sorry.
To reduce your ping you should (while playing): close msn, icq, teamspeak and downloads. Play will be better for you and the others!
